1. A sublime school of knowledge I have described
Rising in its appearance over the confused stars

2. Without its high corners and its courtyard
Where the knowledge and secrets were not contained

3. Whoever circled around it, distressed by worries
Saw in it relief from distress

4. And whoever strode eagerly towards it
His mention became among the highest ranks

5. Attributed to Abu Al-Abbas it was established
The possessor of outstanding virtue and glorious lineage

6. A private Shaykh of hidden path went privately
His recognition as bright as the full moon in ancestry

7. Pious, godfearing saint and devoted worshipper
The best, purest in the secrets of God

8. A Shaykh who knows the path of the Gnostics
None denies recognizing him due to doubt

9. If difficulties beset you, say: O Shadeli I am
In your protection, safe from all harm

10. His miracles in the Maghreb shine
Though veiled like the morning glow

11. Have they not appeared in the two noble sanctuaries
Like the undefiable sun on the horizon

12. To the Lord Most High he has connection and knowledge
Without which seeking is cut off

13. You see him weeping with tears when night falls
A youth with white hair weeping while still a youth

14. Two rivers flow from his palms
Of silver and gold in poverty

15. He established a school to revive God’s religion
Thus for people he revived religion among Arabs

16. Sincerely for his Lord he established it
For those seeking people of religion

17. Had he not been sincere, there would not have shone
In the prayer niche openly written letters

18. The name of the Prophet and the Prophet's friend
And the Distinguished with the Two Lights and Son of Abu

19. That is only due to a secret he deposited in it
To guide him by the Messenger of God and his company

20. Upon him be greetings from me, lasting
As long as sun rises and moon chirps on branches
