1. O you whose affection is sincere towards me
And who is ever on the increase in the Highest

2. And who is protected by the banner on high
To him belongs the uniqueness of leadership in all the lands

3. This, your servant, has come to you upright
Inclined towards obedience in every way

4. So treat him with kindness and turn a blind eye
For in doing so lies righteousness

5. His intention towards you has never been corrupted
Nor the intention of any upright soul

6. And have you ever heard that there comes a day
When from the righteous comes corruption?
