١. إن يصطحب في الورى ذيابٌ
قطاطة ما به ارتيابُ
2. For the stench of the sea comes
From jackals, make no mistake,
٢. إذ جيفةُ البحر ريحها من
قطاطة مالها ذها ب
3. And I see no carcass on land
That flies do not surround.
٣. ولا أرى جيفة بأرض
إلا أتىنحوها ذبابُ
