1. He who seeks to describe Al-Abbas in literature
And does not repent, is foremost of people in etiquette

2. Whoever strays from the path of etiquette, it
Will surely guide him, without doubt or ambiguity

3. His supreme gatherings softened when they began
A gathering from which they rose to the stars

4. A gathering that describes the traits of the generous
A hidden glory, of high lineage and nobility

5. The pole of time, my father Al-Abbas Ahmad, of
Whom its banners reached the most noble positions

6. Beautiful of lineage, the most virtuous in character
The highest in nobility, in mention and ancestry

7. Its traits filled our hearing with mention
Of beauty and essence, away from my eyes in veils

8. The writer of transient things showed us its essence
O beauty of essence that the chosen one displayed

9. Al-Abbas filled my heart when it came
On the tongue of my brother of refined taste

10. So send it to us, do not hesitate with it
With the noble and knowledgeable, as the messenger is a prophet

11. I loved it in enchantment, as its bird soared high
And the ear loves before the eye out of enchantment

12. I beautify hearing and hands, I ennoble it
With it, and am graced, and graced in reciting it

13. This, and I send the greetings of Allah upon you
The most fragrant perfumes, a scent sweeter than profit
