1. Do you reveal my secrets to the slanderers
So you may seek revenge for them from past grudges

2. They hastened with harshness from those with delicate glances
Letters for the acts of pouring are the tools of licentiousness

3. My determination to be patient is weakened by its languor
And supported by an army of yearning that defeats it

4. When determination touches my heart, it says to me
According to the determination of people, intentions come

5. My affliction is great, in which it becomes small to him
And great things become small in the eye of the great

6. Who could be pleased if I lived an hour
And be angry if the worlds desired me

7. Upon his rosy cheeks is the fragrance of musk as the stars
And the charm of his glances upon it are talismans

8. So there is no benefit to passion in union with him
Nor protection from the glancing sword for him

9. Whom the Merciful created with the most upright composition
So the resistant became dear in honor

10. Perfect in creation that the sun is bewildered by his beauty
And for the sun, comparing itself to him is conflicting

11. You see the shining moon is confused by his rising
For that it has the description of confusion always

12. Abdul Khaliq judges by his beauty in Egypt
While Kafoor is a servant in Egypt, he rules

13. Except that God will defeat the slanderers, for they
Are seekers of harm for those passionately in love

14. When they intend to turn away one I love
I describe changing affection for him as Hatem’s trait

15. Unless my fate has a poison to stop its harm to me
And was never concealed, while full of rage

16. It is as if it has a great crime against me
That it does not forget or fears the separation of loved ones

17. That between fate and reality, its people
Are kind, and in the vision of eyes, loving

18. They tried to bring down my worth to the ground
While my destination is adjacent to the highest limit

19. Do enemies bring me down to other than my rightful place
When only turbans suit the highest heads

20. Do you see they are ignorant of the value of the exalted
Or ignore it? Does the shining sun not know the world?

21. It is as if my path is blind in darkness
That appears or a lamp that has no wick

22. It is as if I am fine perfume that spreads its aroma
To those who lack smell and perfume overwhelms

23. It is as if I have eloquent speech in the logic of a deaf man
And was addressed in gibberish or gibberish

24. It is as if I am a composer of melodies among the deaf
That make even solid mountains sway

25. How long will I adorn fate, and it disgraces me
And I am excessive in praising it, yet it blames

26. My praise of the people of fate and their blame of me
We are both sinners in exaggerating praise and blame

27. Not all praise of virtues affirms
Nor all blame with flaws names

28. Sometimes praise baits with condemnation
And some blame aligns with praise

29. When a man praises another’s merits
Tomorrow he changes his praise, while tranquil

30. If some adorn themselves with bracelets
Then some bracelets’ adornment are the wrists

31. No wonder the ignorant conceal my virtues
Every speck of dust hides treasures

32. If an envious slanderer sleeps cursed against me
By burning aromatic wood, its fragrance increases

33. The vastness of the earth narrowed when it was true that
I have a position in Gemini in which there are pleasures

34. Oh how I wish I knew will my troubles end
Or will this be how fate always is?

35. A stranger in lands where he settled
For he has a place for the two bright stars adjacent

36. He has a shadow that grieves all those with hardened hearts
And the most hostile becomes kind to him

37. He has mercy with which the clouds weep their tears
And none were friendly to him except the doves

38. So without what he desires, disasters impede him
And without what he loves, seperations wound

39. Yet the easiest of what he faces are terrors of events
And the most delicious of what is sweet to him are morsels

40. His tidings everyday are calamities
Whose doubles and triples collide with him

41. May God shame a fate whose diversions
Battle me for prolonged time, and I am peaceful

42. Like one whose nose is to the sky and his base
To the water, worried and forced upon his nose

43. He sees me as the lowest of what I have reaped
As if I have harvested it from his bowels with swords

44. And he guides others away from me to the paths of exaltation
And one like me walked the paths of misguidance, lost

45. He has closed the door of benefit from me and folded it
To open the door of harm to me, determined

46. Who could provide me sustenance with my solitude
And without it, the ground and pillars overwhelm me?

47. It is as if I see sustenances when apportioned
Shared my sustenance between them, the dividers

48. I spent my time in sorrow and wishes
And gained nothing from my fate that I hoped for

49. I did not dislike the vacancy, so I was content without it
Nor stayed from what was said, while my heart regretted

50. When has my fate cared to honor me, but habit
Prevents it, the demolisher of the pillars of generosity

51. I have not seen from its generosity to me any means
Except praising one to whom generosity is attributed

52. My master, the righteous, the pure, Ali - through him
Fate has holidays and seasons for us

53. A king - when kingdoms reveal pride,
The pride of his exaltation outlines the celestial

54. A king - when hopes turn to you from him
Then trust the returns will be profitable

55. Flattering advice did not discourage him from its deceit
That the prayers of praisers are covetous

56. He sees praise giving life to its Lord though dead
And lasting the duration of life though worlds perish

57. With wisdom and justice distinguishing this one who harvested
And that for the wounds of misfortunes that afflict

58. A river of litanies by mentioning his God
Which by its sweetness, surround it, confused and roaming

59. After his lessons, the teachings of knowledge
Became customs that give it life and landmarks

60. Eloquent, generous - from it torrents of clouds rain
Coming and going, like Hatem, it knows no limit

61. A king - by him nights of ill fortune complain
And days of good fortune smile

62. He has firmness in the ferocity of war that bends
And the archers coward from it

63. He has chastity - if it circulated in the world
It would not have clung to both worlds, blemished

64. A living giving good news - he did not cease to shine
By it the guided and confused night walkers follow

65. He assumed the sword of truth until
He restored justice for every wronged

66. When the knights of heaven extend and his palm
That is for him as a palm, and that is submissive to him

67. By his excellence the world is united
And no critic deterred him from doing so

68. Your sacrifice - what is the sin of one whose only crime
Was your finest praise, closely befriended?

69. He is disgraced by expulsion, separation, and envied
While others rejoice in it and the last curses him

70. Even if another committed the sin, gathering all of it
None of what stands against me would touch him

71. If my sin is loving you and praising you
Then I persist in those sins, obliged

72. If I had any sin, your benefits encompassed
All the enemies - how can the affectionate obligated sin?

73. Yet I am innocent of all faults
And my honor is safe from all examples

74. If not for my praise of you, I would be stripped
In your presence, censured - against me are sharp swords

75. But I was brief in praising you, so they spoke ill of me at length
Cursing me while innocent of sin

76. If I had not been sparing in praising you
I would have won, and none could diminish my worth

77. If they described me with my faults
It would be disgraceful, but the living is safe from blame

78. But I was described with what is in them, and often
The generous are repelled by descriptions of the vile

79. Neither the superstitions nor omens that slanderers attribute to me
Have I ever adopted, nor any of the inauspicious

80. I see an excuse for them in what is between us
And do not blame what they attribute to me

81. Know that I am only human, so they affirmed
For me some of the states of humans to agree

82. If it were said my fortune has ample misfortune from them
I would believe what my opponent claims

83. Yes, I have abundant misfortune in enemies
And for the vacuum, constant good fortune in praise

84. If good and bad omens are attributed to names
Then for our master the prince, my name contains sympathy

85. So what can the master do with my name
That the time titled me with, agreeably fitting?

86. Moreover, before I was called Baraa
And in my birth horoscope the night was settled

87. With your livelihood, O cursed of the ill-fortuned two
Have they thrown at me, or with which my name is deluded?

88. But my superior virtue was bad for them and for me
So any description of harm stands against it

89. Since they failed to match my prose, they burned
With the embers of meanings, striking at hearts

90. They attributed influence to my name, not knowing
By attributing it to a star, the scholar nullified

91. Does not the Merciful's people fear their ignorance
Throwing at me what no critic has ever thrown?

92. Or has the revelation stated "Do not call each other
By nicknames" - in it forbidding that, decisive

93. Have they not heard “There is no infection or omen” as
Came from the prophet of prophets, the final

94. Does it not break hearts, and breaking them
Corrupts a man’s merits, and man is sinful?

95. They say higher than him are Zaid and Khalid
And how many are better, yet he composes poetry

96. The merit of a person is not equal: jewels and pebbles
To him, and eloquent speech and prattling

97. I am amazed by people who envy me
For sustenance I do not possess, overflowing

98. If I had wealth like my poetry, I would leave it
To them, admitting that my poetry is inept

99. My master - I am not the first composer
They have pelted with sin though innocent

100. If only you inclined toward me slightly
My praise would be pressing upon you, colliding

101. Your approval is praise of the blameworthy and your disapproval
Is eternal blame upon each praised

102. If you have veiled me from your exaltation, the lowly
That is evidence of good to me, standing

103. For after the horizon is veiled by clouds
The rain descends upon earth and lightnings, smiling

104. No cloud covers the sun of day
If it has veiled it, though numerous

105. The enemies say his good poetry is lost
And he rambled censuring enemies, ardent

106. So I said to them my praise is not lost, but
Its rewards come to it progressively accumulating

107. I have not seen any sin I have committed against people
Except long superior merit, which is forbidden sustenance

108. O my master - I have served your side
With rare praise, which others do not serve

109. If I had the slightest livelihood
Tomorrow my praise of you would be pressing

110. So grant me what will spread mention of you
Eternally in gratitude, which no time diminishes

111. I have remained, trusting your exalted position
Which time serves eternally

112. O my master - take from me the stanzas of a poem
In which the beautiful meanings are gentle

113. No price in them from you except approval
And without which, the eagle still confused

114. I have prolonged, but about your exaltation, brief
For none praising have fully encompassed your excellence

115. So you remain victorious, supported
For you rule this kingdom and fate

116. Congratulations on Eid al-Adha, my master, it is
For you in it, a victory concluded in joy
