1. The Messenger was sent with what you see, as though
We deliberately erected tents upon the mountain peaks.
١. بَعَثَ الرَسولُ بِما تَرى فَكَأَنَّما
عَمداً نَشُدُّ عَلى المَقانِبِ غارا
2. And we came to Medina in patches,
And by its climate we killed the Helpers.
٢. وَلَقَد وَرَدنَ بِنا المَدينَةَ شُزَّباً
وَلَقَد قَتَلنا بِجَوِّها الأَنصارا
