1. If among you is Layla's husband, then I swear
By Him who rules the Throne, that I kissed her mouth eight times
١. فَإِن كانَ فيكُم بَعلُ لَيلى فَإِنَّني
وَذي العَرشِ قَد قَبَّلتُ فاها ثَمانِيا
2. And I bear witness before God that I saw her
With twenty fingers behind me
٢. وَأَشهَدُ عِندَ اللَهِ أَنّي رَأَيتُها
وَعُشرونَ مِنها إِصبَعاً مِن وَرائِيا

٣. أَلَيسَ مِنَ البَلوى الَّتي لا شَوى لَها
