1. By her father's life, she is stingy
And by the words of a slanderer, she is angry
١. لَعُمرِ أَبيها إِنَّها لَبَخيلَة
وَمِن قَولِ واشٍ إِنَّها لَغَضوبُ
2. She shot me from the bow of enmity, she
When she saw me turn away, became furious
٢. رَمَتنِيَ عَن قَوسِ العَداوَةِ إِنَّها
إِذا ما رَأَتني مُعرِضاً لَخَلوبُ
