2. News for you that gave from wishes,
A cure that softened in hearts and illuminated,

3. And it flowed with the good mention in our breaths,
A meadow that spread in the countries and perfumed,

8. And I met the noblest of them, hand to hand,
And the most perceptive of them in sight and the most splendid in appearance,

9. I exaggerated the sin of time when away from him,

10. And the harbinger of success came apologizing through it,
For the difficulty of what had become difficult before,

11. This is the protector of the fearful, meeting him
Is stronger to repel evil than the lions of the plateau,

12. And I thought the disease of the hopeful was its cure,
More healing to my poverty than torrential rains,

13. If it wasn't for the hope that bestowed upon my mind
And the promise to meet him again joyfully,

14. I would have blamed my knowledge of his friendship which
Filled my breast with regret and remembrance,

15. To God belongs the removal of afflictions, He surely
Is the helper of the lover in avoiding disasters,

17. A procession of messengers relying on the hillocks,
Folding the robes, crossing the lands,

18. Bearing the most generous newcoming, taken by
The hands of the riders, and the best that stepped on the ground,

19. And the most distinguished that attended gatherings and initiated,
And the most honourable that rode the trained horses,

20. His Creator has given him the highest authority and installed him
At the head of a lofty and eminent lineage,

21. With the long-lived son of the long-lived, the ridersโ€™
Procession emerged for us in the glowing morning,

22. And a cloud that revives us with its imminent benefit,
As if it were hastening fertile plant growth,

ูˆูƒุฃู†ู‘ู‡ุง ุชู‡ู…ูŠ ุงู„ู†ุจุงุชูŽ ุงู„ู…ูุซู…ูุฑุง

23. And as if when our palms spread
It stops the mud or the red blossoms,

24. To You O Abu Umar is your determination, since you arose
To the devotions of your Lord, having rolled up your sleeves,

25. You were the purest pilgrim, and the best who
Cried the talbiyah among the pilgrims and exalted,

ูขูฅ. ู‚ุฏ ูƒู†ุช ุฃุฒูƒู‰ ุงู„ู…ุญุฑู…ูŠู† ูˆุฎูŽูŠุฑูŽ ู…ู†
ู„ูŽุจู‘ูŽู‰ ูˆู‡ูŽู„ู‘ูŽู„ูŽ ููŠ ุงู„ุญูŽุฌูŠุฌ ูˆูƒุจู‘ูŽุฑุง

26. And you went ahead to Nizwa, you took it
Like a bride showing coquetry and arrogance,

ูขูฆ. ูˆู‚ุฏู…ุช ู†ูŽุฒูˆู‰ ู…ูŽู‚ุฏูŽู…ุงู‹ ุฃุฎุฐุชูŽ ุจู‡
ุฒููŠู‘ูŽ ุงู„ุนุฑูˆุณ ุชุฏู„ู„ุงู‹ ูˆุชูŽุจูŽุฎู’ุชูุฑุง

27. And you watered it copiously, giving excuses,
And clothed it in fine clothes and embroidered fabric,

ูขูง. ูˆุณู‚ูŠุชู‡ุง ุฃุฑู’ู‰ ุงู„ุณู‘ุฑูˆุฑ ู…ุนู„ู‘ู„ุงู‹
ูˆูƒุณูˆุชูŽู‡ุง ูˆุดูŠูŽ ุงู„ุจู‡ุงุกู ู…ูุญูŽุจู‘ูŽุฑุง

28. And you cured Muhammad, the master scholar,
Of the pain of separation, the most tender and flowering,

ูขูจ. ูˆุดููŠุช ู…ู† ุฃู„ู… ุงู„ูุฑุงู‚ ู…ุญู…ู‘ุฏุงู‹
ุงู„ุณูŠู‘ุฏูŽ ุงู„ุนู„ู… ุงู„ุฃุบุฑู‘ูŽ ุงู„ุฃุฒู‡ูŽุฑุง

29. As for Abu Abdullah, he came
With the favour we had missed in him and was obligatory,

ูขูฉ. ุฃู…ุง ุฃุจูˆ ุนุจุฏ ุงู„ุฅู„ู‡ ูู‚ุฏ ุฃุชู‰
ุจุฌู…ูŠู„ ู…ุง ุฎู„ู†ุงู‡ ููŠู‡ ูˆุจุงู„ุญูŽุฑูŽู‰

30. And he accepted the Yemeni marks of honour that
Gave his origin the greatest status,

ูฃู . ูˆุชู‚ุจู„ ุงู„ุดูŠูŽู… ุงู„ูŠู…ุงู†ูŠุฉ ุงู„ู‘ูŽุชูŠ
ุฃุนุทุช ุฃูˆุงุฆู„ูŽู‡ ุงู„ู…ุญู„ู‘ูŽ ุงู„ุฃูƒุจูŽุฑุง

31. And he strove as his father strove in seeking the most high,
And he followed the path of the generous as he did,

ูฃูก. ูˆุณุนู‰ ูƒุณุนูŠ ุฃุจูŠู‡ ููŠ ุทู„ุจ ุงู„ุนูู„ู‰
ูˆุฌุฑู‰ ุนู„ู‰ ุณูŠุฑ ุงู„ูƒุฑุงู… ูƒู…ุง ุฌุฑูŽู‰

32. Now hear the good mention of his benevolence,
And see with your own eyes the goodness of what he enacted,

ูˆุงู†ุธุฑู’ ุจุนูŠู†ูƒ ุญุณู†ูŽ ู…ุง ู‚ุฏ ุฃูŽุซุฑุง

33. And count him among the purest and superior bounties
That, in your view, have a rank below only the Creator,

ู„ู„ู‡ ุนู†ุฏูƒ ุญูุฒุชู‡ุง ุฏูˆู†ูŽ ุงู„ูˆุฑู‰

34. And be joyful for this son you were given,
A destiny for fortune that came predestined,

35. And you two lived honourably and attained the nobility of the most high,
And you were spared having to dislike or be wary,

36. My soul is yours in ransom, O Abu Umar, for you
Stirred my soul, expressing its secrets,

37. You made me yearn for what you mentioned, rewarding,
The landmarks of Mecca, arriving like visitors,

ุฃูŠุฏูŠ ุงู„ูุฑุงู‚ ูˆุฌู†ู‘ูŽุจุชูƒูŽ ู…ูŽุฒุงุฑูŽู‡ุง

38. O how excellent is the good news that reaches us,
Healing hearts as it spreads its reports,

ูฃูจ. ูˆุนู‡ุฏุชู‡ุง ุฒู…ู†ุงู‹ ูˆุฃู‡ู„ูƒ ุฌูŠุฑุฉู‹
ููŠ ุญุณู† ูˆุตู„ู ู…ุง ุฐู…ู…ุชูŽ ุฌูˆุงุฑูŽู‡ุง

39. May my Lord watch over you as you witness His Plain,
Among its people, and when you stone the Jamarat,

ู†ุงุทุช ุจุฌูŠุฏ ุฌูŽุฏุงูŠุฉ ุฃุฒุฑุงุฑูŽู‡ุง

40. You have arrived welcomed and you reached
Nizwa and settled in its abodes,

ุฃู‚ู…ุงุฑ ุชู…ู‘ ู…ุง ุนุฑูุช ุณุฑุงุฑูŽู‡ุง

41. So one longing for your nearness will be delighted, and one
Yearning will settle, his soul taking flight,

42. And your house will be adorned, O Abu Umar, so it will not
Cease, while you live, to have its building renovated,

43. O Muhammad son of the long-lived, you have lived
Where wellbeing reaps its fruits,

44. And you both attained the joy of life and its prosperity,
And were spared its hated and cautious affairs,
