1. I congratulate Abu Omar in good fortune and prosperity,
And may you and your son live a long life,

2. Welcome to you both, O two masters who have become
Good news of joy in the desert and the city,

3. O land of Nuza, boast and dress in flowers,
For you are between the sweet Euphrates and the rain,

4. And O exalted sky, shine brightly, for
Your atmosphere was illuminated between the sun and the moon,

5. Now with them you have become joyful forever,
A virgin strolling between freckles and ink,

6. Like a garden that has gotten used to it
The breeze of morning and it became the softness of dawn,

7. Spring has woven for it a cloak and made for it
Necklaces of light and flowers,

8. Blessed are you from the source of your Creator
Who performs his rituals, blessed are you from the chest

9. Now I praise you beyond your range
And your true face, the preference of hearing and sight,

10. My love's cure was me listening to his words
And enjoying the beauty of his sight,

11. I see you to one who could not find ways
To Hajj, the best substitute for a visitor and pilgrim,

12. When he sees clear blessings in you
In the beauty of your traits and sight,

13. Appreciating in you Allah's house, touching
Your sides like touching the corner and the rock,

14. O surpassing in the traits of virtue, no one
Resembles you, blessed is He who created you from humans,

15. May this auspicious son delight you, he indeed
Has a sign from Allah upon you that is not hidden,

16. O the morning’s radiance, the generous tent, detain him
The glory of your family, the place of brilliant stars,

17. He rises with the glory of Bani Nubhan in Yemen
And is associated with Ziyad in the heights of Mudhar,

18. With ambition and Yemeni determination
To the firmness of unbending wood,

19. His aspirations have made him determined
So he attained the difficult with a patient self,

20. The morals of the masters of Nubhan, with it they ruled
The inheritance of pulpits, crowns and thrones,

21. In people's eyes they themselves were
That adversity to the exalted is dangerous,

22. Prepared to attain all virtues, not accepting
Decline or smallness,

23. They are prey, Yemenis and Azdites, all of them
Revolving around exalted and dignified full moons,

24. They are the kings, we dwelled in their neighborhood
In the shade of glory, and picked ripe fruits,

25. So people counted them alone among the people
And didn’t count what you see from the rest of forms,

26. Abu Omar the sublime threw upon us a robe
And Abu Abdillah spread upon us the garb of ink,

27. So I am not accustomed to complaining about time, as
With them I attained what I hope for and desire,

28. My master, Allah has eased for me some relief
From a joy that stirred my passion and memories,

29. I struggled to spend my time in their absence
Years, and now is the time of triumph and victory,

30. How many catastrophes have befallen me, which he made easy
My anticipation of you closely and awaited,

31. If not for your status in life, I would have regretted
Myself for the nearness of what I gain in age,

32. And I became a foreigner for a year after your travel in
My stay, so here I am, the coming one from travel,

33. My thanks to a Lord who ordained for me in your safety
My wish, and sufficed me in you from caution,

34. This is in your presence some poetry whose time
I hastened, so it came in the guise of one who apologizes
