As if poured from pressed sweat

6. And a fine gathering full
Of companionship, joy, and renowned hospitality

7. And a lute whose beautiful singing
Articulates with eloquence and rhythm

8. And youth who in drinking have known
No insult to a friend or missed deadlines

9. We are served by charming boys, graceful
As gazelles, with oaths and wit

10. And fruits of many colors meeting us
Among newborns white and black

11. We feast and spend nights happy under shade, stretched out
Its coolness from a dark-haired beauty

12. And Eid's joy for me and adornment
Is my lord of glorious Bani Nahyan descent

13. With qualities and manners truly Yemeni
And a spirit created from the clay of generosity

14. He rises with virtues weighed down
