1. Be patient, for all things fade
Your future will return from the past

2. When the new ones take over
They leave the old behind, worn and faded

3. For many grand events at first overwhelming
May later bring you joy pure and cleansing

4. So be patient and act with poise
Surrendering to His decree, yes, content

5. And prepare, for your Lord will suffice
No other can cure your pain but He who heals

6. He, most high, who has no partner or equal
So trust in Him, the best Guardian, Protector

7. Leave all others, both far and near
They are scattered, their schemes disappearing

8. Not through tricks does one ascend the heights
Except through Him, obedient or disobeying
