1. Welcome, welcome
O dwellers of the most hospitable land

2. Nay, dwellers of my heart
You have come near and I come nearer

3. To you, rejoicing
In the sincerity of affection

4. How many breaths of grace from Allah
How many hours in life

5. How many twists of fate
That bring every wish

6. Of gain and desirability
My obstinacy and stubbornness

7. Have found every drink pleasant
I soar with it and rejoice

8. And reconcile with it my obstinacy
Nearness in distance

9. Will inevitably bring harm
Nearness is nearness of spirits

10. And subtlety for refinement
And insistence for density

11. No heed to apparitions
When the intention is sound

12. For in it lies the goal of seeking
Even if vision does not transpire

13. Woe to me for the Lord
What for the Prophet, my companion

14. What pleasure in distance
From the Prophet brought near

15. Rather he said, elaborating
He will intercede on the Day of Judgement

16. So how many a neighbor, his house
Did not benefit from his shrine

17. Like the son of Abu and others
When their harm increased

18. So his proximity did not benefit
Rather, his disbelief persisted

19. The deeds of hearts are quicker
To the side of pleasure and more beneficial

20. And for virtues they are most comprehensive
True, this is proven

21. Moses drew near to us
Prevailing among worshippers

22. Attributed to me, the best lineage
To the refined Prophet

23. Unique in fortune
