2. Nor did our sweet mother's milk compete with the dates
She possesses together beauty and religion and morals

3. There is no one like this gazelle
Who has attained all beauty

4. And exceeded it with perfection
Do not be surprised that in her is the epitome of wonder

5. Since she swayed above the branch of the erect twig
She resembles musk in color and in fragrance

6. They both without contention are of the same essence and creation
Thirst is quenched when from her hand water is drank

7. A goblet from the daughter of Zarjun with love
This from us is for the hearts

8. And has uncovered all worries
And removed all sorrows

9. This is my longing, and this is my request, and this is my nurture
And in it is my soul, and my comforts along with my joy
