1. I asked you, O descending clouds,
To convey my greetings,

2. To the one whose tears ran as blood,
And whose passion for me grew.

3. O you of charming, sweet cheeks,
Of supple, slender waist,

4. Your beauty adorns the full moon in the sky,
And dwells in tents.

5. Tell him to be kind,
To a depressed, lovesick one,

6. Infatuated and obsessed,
If you want, my masters, whenever

7. You seek my protection,
An hour of your union will profit me,

8. Will you honor my abode?
O enchanter of eyes, go easy on your creation,

9. Be gentle with us and lift us up.
It kills me, O happiness of your lover,

10. What can be done?
Since we parted, comfort has left me

11. I spend my evenings sick and tired,
And love for you dwells in my heart,

12. Do not increase my infatuation.
It is enough that I burn,

13. And the loneliness of separation.
How great is my longing!

14. O guide of passions, bring me to Zamzam,
Hopefully my wishes will be fulfilled,

15. When sorrows pour from me like blood.
Muhammad the Chosen One, none compares to him

16. The Praised Hashimi
All creation was made for his sake

17. For his sake and he is the greatest
Above all prophets is his superiority

18. For he is the foremost
On the Day of Resurrection and darkness,

19. When people will be confused and crammed
Deprive me not of your intercession

20. O essence of benefit
I have no merchandise

21. Except your love in my heart that established
And dwelt in my bones

22. And love for you, my master, is safety
To the Gardens of Peace
