1. The gazelle of the sand dune, have mercy
On the suffering, lovelorn lover

2. I wish from your pure lips
A kiss to extinguish my flame

3. For my heart has not experienced
Anything like your abandonment, my beloved

4. No one who bears separation ever ascends
Not at all, he has no refuge or healer

5. Except if his love is generous
With a reunion, drawing him near

6. For that is when his Lord makes him prosperous
He who loves Him is not wretched

7. That is good fortune and destiny
We hope from Allah we will reunite

8. And the heart will be joyful with the meeting
Strange, O night, how long you are

9. With the distance, how desolate and vast you are
For I have complained to you

10. O night, about the deeds of your planets
O star, what makes it right for you

11. To disappear, leaving your companion
Planets of the night, be gentle

12. And console the stranger's loneliness
This is an age devoid of loyalty

13. Its planets and brilliance
My heart, its remedy is lost

14. Take heed, be certain
I have trusted in my Creator

15. And my comfort, Allah does not disappoint
Our days, they all pass

16. So there is no singing but obeying Him
And our deeds are not righteous

17. If His mercy does not accommodate them
O Allah, be forgiving with us

18. For the right of Ahmad and his family
O my soul, avoid evil

19. And regain success soon
For on Judgement Day

20. I fear regret for you
And you will not find safety

21. Unless you repent and give charity
With a heart sincere and bending to Him

22. It is done, send prayers on the pure one
