1. Welcome to compositions of gems and emerald
And ornaments made of pure gold

2. And gardens of flowers where the morning breeze
Plays with blossoming branches

3. His meanings were pleasing and his composition surpassed
And told amazing beginnings from the dew of flowers

4. Whenever I recited his verses in a gathering
The reciter was delighted by them

5. No wonder his compositions were pleasing
And the horizons of his light shone in the heart

6. Are not his breaths a gift
From the overflowing breaths of Prophet Muhammad

7. The grandson of prophethood and heir of the secret
Who guides with it those who were not guided

8. He gathered all virtues, worshipper of the Merciful
His lights like a shining star

9. The hand with which I take power when it is my hand
And the tongue with which I express the strange wisdoms that did not exist

10. And my brother to whom I gave sincere friendship
And singled him out with my love

11. He led the world as a child in the cradle
Wearing the garment of righteousness, excellent dressed

12. And was fed the milk of knowledge and prohibition
And attained the gifts of eternity

13. O heir of the secret of guardianship and supremacy
From our Sheikh, I mean, my master Ali

14. You are present in my heart
And if you are away, I am not far from you

15. If eyes do not see you, my essence
Witnesses you wherever you are

16. You have explained the events of the countries
That did not happen in our country

17. Alas for those countries and their people
From the lasting abiding fate

18. Alas for those homes and open lands
And places of worship for the devout

19. Flowing for them was their most pleasant life
And their most delightful drink, the wished promise

20. Eyes were delighted when they saw
Their homes, intimate and familiar places

21. In it were the generous righteous leaders
Meeting them delighted blind eyes

22. People whom when darkness fell you saw them
Like stars in the pitch blackness

23. Like Imam Aidaroos and his likeness
Blind Ali the singular stature

24. The sea of realities, subtleties and prohibitions
More generous than the foaming sea of knowledge

25. Succor of people, aid of every adversity
Pole of guardianship, pillar of the guided

26. He was but a star for the guided
He was but an example for the follower

27. Alas his separation was bitter
And my sorrow after him and my gloom

28. I used to have patience for every calamity
But my patience and composure ran out after him

29. O eye be generous with tears and if
Tears run out, then with blood, so you may be happy

30. For manuscripts and pages cried for him
As did prayer niches and mosques of prostration

31. And fasting the days of his death ritual
And night vigils for the sake of the worshipper

32. And the treasures of unveiling for the seeker
He attained them without hesitation

33. The world was darkened after him
And the ranks of knowledge and pillar were desolated

34. So may God have mercy on him and on us through him
And bring together our separated group

35. And increase the supremacy in Hadramaut
And correct every corrupted matter

36. And upon you and the family all greetings
Of soulful renewed breaths

37. Then prayers always
Upon the intercessor guide Muhammad
