And every living being other than me perishes

4. And every arena of longing is a land
In which I unleashed my reins

5. And I spent the night ascending on my steed
Eagerly without hesitation

6. Until I traversed the seven heavens
In which was my great glory

7. I inherited in it the place of my grandfather
So which eye can see my place?

8. And I was with a thankful tongue
Whenever my tongue was hesitant

9. So for me every elevation is a descent
And every exalted one to me is lowly

10. Beware of me, my steed, my sword and my blade
My father and grandfather are my pillar

11. That is my fortress and my fortification
Al-Aidarus suffices me pride

12. And his sword against the enemies suffices me
A high flag of knowledge and kindness

13. With every wisdom he endowed me
Of vast glory and long life

14. That almost extends over time
With it is my triumph, with it is my power

15. With it is my pride over my peers
So which sun am I, but surely

16. The blind cannot see me
I spend the morning in the dawn of guidance and the evening

17. In the darkness of ignorance of those who spurned me
God showed me to the open country

18. As a light, so glory be to the one who showed me
And the star in the water is like my description

19. Lofty and lowly to the one who called upon me
If the universe had a physical palm

20. That gestured towards me without fingers
The Arabs and non-Arabs know me

21. Before my words, that I am so-and-so
Upon my forehead, I am the son of Taha

22. I am the son of the one endowed with virtues
And I have a state that protects me

23. If I said sword, it surely protected me
Generosity with a sword that shakes one day

24. And scatters words like coal
My words were for every meaning

25. Garments and raiment upon the beautiful maidens
My descending rain makes rock flow

26. So what is Jarir and what is Ibn Hani
And every heart inclines intoxicated

27. As if the heart is a bending branch
And I conclude prayer with peace

28. Upon the one endowed with virtues
