1. My loved ones care for me
With kindness in their eyes they tend me

And finds goodness in any but Yours

You have denied or granted my union

8. For You are You are You
So shame on those who dishonor me

9. Your love is an obligation above all obligations
Even if You destroy me

10. I am a poor and destitute servant
Yet Your songs enrich me greatly

11. If any but You were sought
Or if I loved any but You

12. And in You lies the ultimate desire
Toward what do You point me?

13. I am sincerely devoted to You
And annihilated in You through passion

14. So for God's sake, do not sell me
Rebuke me, I cannot hear You

15. Nor in rebuke can I follow You
Even if You reconciled completely

16. By my Lord, You cannot frighten me
My endless praise is for my Lord

17. You have adorned me with a veil
As You have privileged the Chosen

18. And ordained His religion as mine
