1. O moon with radiant splendor
And pure wine mixed with musk

2. Love for you keeps me awake
Your embers burning in my heart

3. Your alluring glance makes me lovesick
Like kohl disturbed and smudged

4. Your tanned complexion captivates me
Every heart longs for you

5. Your soft cheeks and golden complexion
Between the flowers and flames

6. Your sweet lips are wondrous
Will you unite us and allow us to meet?

7. Let my eyes bid you farewell
My chastity prevents me more from you

8. You had no command over me
My heart craves you, O beloved

9. Meeting you was paradise, parting was hellfire
How can I be at peace or feel secure?

10. You have so many excuses
Love for you has taken hold of my heart

11. And built a home in my heart for you
May God fix you, how can I abandon you?

12. My heart cannot do without you
What is my crime, what is the reason for this aloofness?

13. Would you kill a lover, is that your wish?
I complain to the one of highest rank

14. The precious jewel of the Haydar family
The one whose noble lineage is innate

15. If praise does not increase his fame
I said to my longing heart, tell me

16. Is there anyone more generous than the Aal-e-Rasheed?
My heart replied, give me more

17. For I am a poor lowly slave
Their love made me perish

18. For their swords are well forged
Honor is attributed to them

19. Glory is attained through them
Virtue, dignity and nobility lie with them

20. Their swords are sharper than Antar's
Victory over Badr is not theirs

21. By God, the Prophet will be victorious
He will prevail without hardship
