1. O clouds flashing with lightning, flash, O clouds
May Allah water the thirsty through you

2. May our withered branches revive
And bear fruit along with all the fruitful

3. If You, O Vast of Giving, do not find
Then who is there for the sinful offenders?

4. You face no obstacle in what You desire
O Most Able of those who are able!

5. My heart is wandering, lacking guidance
So guide it, O Guider of the wandering!

6. If the people of piety attain glory
And, O agony for the doomed, attain success!

7. If their feet align in the darkness
And the invocation of the certain is sweet

8. And sleep becomes sweet for the ill
O agony for the heedless by night!

9. My evil heart, do you not fear Allah
And how you disobey Him among the disobedient!

10. May neither the words of those who spoke of you
Nor the multiplicity of those who praise you avail you

11. My means, O Lord, are through the Chosen One
Intercessor of mankind, master of messengers

12. And through the prophets and their companions
And their Household and the Successors after

13. And by Your names, O my Creator
And the Scriptures and the Manifest Book

14. And by Your angels providing me, O my Sustainer
I implore, O goal of the hopeful

15. And the saints and their secrets
And the people of Sacred Law and certainty

16. Bestow forgiveness for all sins
That we may all be among the successful

17. Find approval and abundant giving
And include among it all those present

18. And lengthen the life of our Sultan
And guard him from the eyes of enviers

19. And be for him a preserver and protector
And be for him a victorious supporter and helper

20. And treat him gently in all his conditions
With worldly success and perfection in religion

21. And reform him, O Lord, in all his deeds
And by his deeds reform the Muslims

22. For You are Gentle, Bountiful, Compassionate
And the abundance of beseechers does not weary You

23. Your treasuries of generosity are without end
For the abundance of Your gifts to the hopeful

24. And Your prayers, O Most High,
Upon the Chosen One, at every time.
