1. O heart, do not aspire with cold determination
If you intend the utmost intentions

2. Let no thorn deter you from the roses
Make your aim one for one

3. Love of peace prohibits peace
Let no blamer prevent you from whom you desire

4. If you have an aim for a lovely gazelle
Do not listen to slanderers nor opponents

5. Whoever does not risk his most precious in love
Will never taste its sweetness

6. How I cry out but find no buyer
My soul looks upon what I endure

7. If you tasted what people of determination tasted
Of bliss, triumph and spoils

8. While you sleep, the caravans march on
Oh what regret from little aid

9. Your love distracted you
Until your sickness overcame your cure

10. If you do not weep, then sigh
Perhaps a breeze will heal the corruption

11. Travel to God crooked and broken
Your Lord's generosity is vast and widespread

12. Sins, if renounced, are forgiven
