1. Adorned with anklets, he walks with pride
Protecting and proclaiming his beauty

2. Leaving my loving heart bewildered
Stirring what was still within my soul

3. My longing for the sound of his bangles
Makes my heart crazed and tempting

4. With his perfection gathering all virtues
And the mole on his cheek an adornment

5. With kindness, beauty and joy
Like roses, myrtles and bundles

6. I pine for you, oh companion of my pain
And whenever the north winds blow

7. My heart finds peace in its home
By God, I do not heed the words of reproachers

8. However much they weary me and make me sad
My separation from loved ones has been long

9. This was not what I had in mind
I have no companion but the stars

10. And sleep has abandoned my eyes
I made a solemn vow to God

11. That my love has become my fate
And I have given to God everything

12. Of my thin property and burdens
By God, I love no one but Him

13. My only goal is to please Him
When, oh when will my eyes see Him

14. May God quench you from lofty dwellings
Without my input and its builder

15. With every heavy rain and downpour
And the sweetness of my life and more

16. You ask, can what is past return?
To my ancient, bygone days

17. Oh dweller of Ibn Rashid's valley
And destination of longing in Tareem

18. God is witness to my words
That I am sick from their estrangement

19. Return, if you are among them, messages
That make my heart crazed and tempting

20. I asked the Generous Lord of the Heavens
To sustain with might and bounty

21. The Godly, Forbearing and Wise
My father, the virtuous son of the virtuous

22. Leader of Sufism and its essence
And perfect in every science

23. May God strengthen and protect him
