1. O servants of Allah, do not falter
You are protected from every plot

2. How many hands like helping hands
Are from a hand among you like helping hands

3. The prosperous vary until
They recognize it as varying prey

4. You have lived as long as you lived as a servant
Whose custom is as increasing

5. If you contend with the wind in glory
It would be humbled, having a tether

6. You are happiness in the heights
You are not in it Sa'eed

7. You walked until you attained the highest
Parapet of glory by hand

8. Rather, you lowered yourself onto it
From lofty heights

9. You did not attain it by trickery
Nor by slow gait

10. The earth settled by your
Management of it after tilting

11. And your pens are more decisive
Than drinking youths' spears

12. Or drinking spears of Ibn Ma'di
My brother of war, Zubeed

13. And when chastity is counted
You were Amr bin Ubeed

14. What slave of His is named
Slave, except you O Ubeed
