مدّ الخَليج

وَرَفّ الشَجَر

وَرَفّ الشَجَر

The gulf swelled,

The Gulf stretches

and the trees quivered;

And the trees sway

لَقَد تَعانَقا

لَقَد تَعانَقا

منظرٌ وَمُختبر

منظرٌ وَمُختبر

indeed, the two embraced—

They have embraced

a sight and an experience.
