في قُبَّةٍ ضُرِبَت عَلى ابنِ الحَشرَجِ
Indeed, generosity, noble character, and bounty
Generosity, integrity, and benevolence
Are in a domed tent pitched over Ibn al-Hashraj.
In a dome erected over the son of Hasraj
مَلكٌa king أَغرُّradiant مُتَوَّجٌcrowned ذوpossessing نائِلٍbounty

لِلمُعتَفينَ يَمينُهُ لَم تَشنَجِ
A radiant, crowned king, possessed of bounty
A king most generous, crowned, with an attainment
For those seeking gifts; his right hand has never clenched.
For the remorseful, his right hand did not recoil
ياO خَيرَbest مِنof those who صَعِدَascended المَنابِرَthe pulpits بِالتُّقىwith piety

بَعدَ النَّبِي المُصطَفى المُتَحَرِّج
O best of those who ascended the pulpits with piety,
O best of those who climbed the pulpits in piety
After the chosen Prophet, who shunned sin.
After the chosen Prophet, the most meticulous

When I came to you, hoping for your bounty,
When I came to you hopeful for your gifts
I found the door to your bounty had not been shut.
I found the door to your gifts did not recoil
