O you who go too far in hurting us,
O you who rebuke us unjustly
Between rejection that makes the heart bleed and withholding,
Between rejecting which makes the heart bleed and abstaining
لاdo not تدلواpresume بحسنكمupon your beauty قدalready سلوناwe have ceased to pine
لا تدلوا بحسنكم قد سلونا
وأمنّاand we are safe منfrom هجركمyour abandonment والتجنىand unjust treatment
وأمنّا من هجركم والتجنى
Do not presume upon your beauty; we have already ceased to pine,
Do not mislead us with your charm after having asked us
And are safe from your abandonment and unjust treatment.
And make us feel safe from your abandonment and aloofness
