ولقد يفصح دمعي ويبين
O you who are heedless of my passion for him,
O oblivious one to my fervent love
And indeed my tears speak plainly and make it clear.

جلّexalted is باريكyour Maker وسيماhandsome فاتناًenchanting
جلّ باريك وسيما فاتناً
مشرقَradiant الطلعةthe countenance وضّاحbright الجبينthe brow
مشرقَ الطلعة وضّاح الجبين
Exalted is your Maker—you are handsome and enchanting,
Exalted is my Lord, beautiful and graceful
Radiant of countenance, bright of brow.
