Dwellings once the delight of eye and heart,
Homes once pleasing to the eye and heart
now, morning and evening, are mere fancies in the heart.
Have become mere fantasies in my soul

I once loved them, but gave up that love
and my love for any but God is a crime in love.
For loving other than God is a sin
