endures in it, nor does war.

فلا يغررك ما منحت

فإن عطاءها سلبُ

فإن عطاءها سلبُ

So let not what it has given deceive you,

Do not be fooled by any gift it brings

for its giving is a taking away.

For its giving is but theft of fleeting things
