Except the one in al-Sirr—what is its sin?

Do not leave it barren of visitors.

I do indeed hope that you will build here

a house for God, O finest of the rightly guided,

to remain until the Gathering as a source of pride for you,

peerless, visible like a solitary mountain.

It shines in the settlement as an adornment for it,

a necklace of gems and gold.

had you and generosity not settled at its foot?

Was it anything but a congregational mosque, whose sun

    shines with radiance before Ahmad?

though learning there is astir, evening and morning.

Nothing remains of its memorized lore, when it recites

to the people, save: "My mosque, my mosque!"
