She greets me in the morning over the morning draught,
I greet the dawn at morning’s first light,
and revives me through her lovely face.

No morning’s beautiful without sunlight.

When you smile at me, it makes me see,
at her smiling mouth the radiance of bounteous lightning.
Your smile’s like lightning, joyful and free.

For if she unites, she restores my mind.
