The clouds wept over the gardens and beautified
The clouds wept over the gardens and adorned
their plantings with a bereaved mother's tears.
Them with saplings of falling teardrops
فَكَأَنَّهاso they seem like وَالطلُّwhile the dew يُشرِقُgleams فَوقَهاabove them

So they seem, as the dew gleams above them,
As though with the dawn rising above them
like brocade woven with scattered pearls.
It was necklaces being strung with scattered pearls
