And a cloud, coursing as ships course, is driven along
And one that glides as ships do, driven by
by the winds—yet its pool of water hangs in the sky.
the winds—yet its pool lies in the air.

I have seen a ship in the innermost depths of seas;
I have seen, in the bellies of the seas, their ships;
but that is a ship with its seas inside its belly.
yet that is a ship with its seas in its belly.
