وَقَهوةٌ تسلسلُ
A rainstorm, and rain pouring down,
Clouds and pouring rain,
And wine flowing smoothly,
And coffee that flows,
تَدورُcirculates بَينَamong فَتيةٍyoung men
تَدورُ بَينَ فَتيةٍ

بِخلقهم تُمثَّلُ
Circling among young men,
Circling among youths
Likened to their character.
Whose character it shows.

وَالأُفقُ مِن سَحابِهِ

طَلٌّ ضَعيفٌ ينزلُ
And the horizon—from its clouds
The horizon with its clouds
A faint drizzle falls,
Has a light drizzle that falls,

بُرادَةٌ تُغَربَلُ
As though it were silver
As if it were made of silver
Filings being sifted.
A sieve that filters all.
