عليكَ بِهذا السفرِ إن كنت شيّقاً

عليكَ بِهذا السفرِ إن كنت شيّقاً

لِخيرِ الوَرى لازمه أيّ لزامِ

لِخيرِ الوَرى لازمه أيّ لزامِ

Hold fast to this volume if you yearn

Embark on this journey if you are dutiful,

for the best of creation; cleave to it with utmost constancy.

Stick to the best of creation with utmost devotion.

فإنّك إِن لازمتهُ بمحبّةٍ

فإنّك إِن لازمتهُ بمحبّةٍ

تَرى المُصطفى في يقظةٍ ومنامِ

تَرى المُصطفى في يقظةٍ ومنامِ

For if you cleave to it with love,

For if you accompany him with love,

you will see the Chosen One in wakefulness and sleep.

You will see the Chosen One awake and in dreams.
