ما استشرف الناس عيداً مثل عيدهمُ

مع الإمام الذي باللَه ينتصرُ

مع الإمام الذي باللَه ينتصرُ

Never have people looked forward to a festival like theirs,

People have not looked forward to a celebration like their celebration

with the imam who triumphs with God's help.

With the Imam who with Allah is victorious

غدا بجمعٍ كجنح الليل يقدمهُ

غدا بجمعٍ كجنح الليل يقدمهُ

وجهٌ أغرُّ كما يجلو الدجى القمرُ

وجهٌ أغرُّ كما يجلو الدجى القمرُ

He set out in the morning with a host like the wing of night, led by

Tomorrow with a group like the wings of night he proceeds

a radiant face, as the moon dispels the darkness.

A face brighter, as the moonlight clears away the darkness

يؤمُهُّم صادعٌ بالحقّ أحكمَهُ

يؤمُهُّم صادعٌ بالحقّ أحكمَهُ

حزمٌ وعلمٌ بما يأتي وما يذرُ

حزمٌ وعلمٌ بما يأتي وما يذرُ

One who openly proclaims the truth leads them, made steadfast by

He leads them, a firm advocate of the truth

resolve and knowledge of what he undertakes and what he leaves aside.

Wisdom and knowledge of what will come and what will pass

لو خُيِّرَ الناسُ فاختاروا لأنفسهم

لو خُيِّرَ الناسُ فاختاروا لأنفسهم

أحظّ منك لما نالوه ما قدروا

أحظّ منك لما نالوه ما قدروا

If the people were given a choice and chose for themselves

If people were given a choice to choose for themselves

one more fortunate than you, they would not attain him, however great their power.

They would not attain a better fortune than you, even if they tried
