وَمُستَرقُ القَصائِدِ وَالمُضاهي

وَمُستَرقُ القَصائِدِ وَالمُضاهي

سَواءٌ عِندَ عُلّامِ الرِجالِ

سَواءٌ عِندَ عُلّامِ الرِجالِ

And the thief of poems and the imitator

The thief of odes and matchers -

Are alike in the eyes of the learned among men.

They are equal in the eyes of the scholars of men
