Help me ward off separation; against it I have no

Strength tomorrow, O Protector of the believers,

When they bring forward for departure every tamed camel,

Accustomed to the heat of branding and a head-bobbing gait,

Toil-worn, like a mountain’s flank, its fat stripped away by

Two seasons gone by, both lush with grass and fertile.
