سَتَبرَأُwill heal مِنfrom بُعدِafter الضَمانَةِthe infirmity رِجلُهاher leg
سَتَبرَأُ مِن بُعدِ الضَمانَةِ رِجلُها
وَتَأتيand she will come الَّذيthe one whom تَهوىshe loves مُخَلّىleft clear طَريقُهاher path
وَتَأتي الَّذي تَهوى مُخَلّى طَريقُها
Her leg will heal after its infirmity,
Her foot will be freed after the guarantee
and she will come to the one she loves, her path left clear.
And the one she loves will come with his path cleared
عَلَيَّincumbent upon me هَداياofferings البُدنِthe sacrificial camels إِنif لَمnot أُلاقِهاI meet her
عَلَيَّ هَدايا البُدنِ إِن لَم أُلاقِها
وَإِنand even if لَمnot يَكُنthere is إِلّاexcept فُدَيكٌFudayk يَسوقُهاhe leads her
وَإِن لَم يَكُن إِلّا فُدَيكٌ يَسوقُها
I owe offerings of sacrificial camels if I fail to meet her,
Woe to me if I don't meet her gifts of beauty
even if none but Fudayk is leading her.
Even if all she has is a rooster to lead her
يُحَصِّنُهاhe guards her مِنّيfrom me فُدَيكٌFudayk سَفاهَةًout of foolishness
يُحَصِّنُها مِنّي فُدَيكٌ سَفاهَةً
وَقَدand already ذَهَبَتhave gone فيهاinto her الكُباسُthe large phalluses وَحوقُهاand their glans-rims
وَقَد ذَهَبَت فيها الكُباسُ وَحوقُها
Fudayk foolishly guards her from me,
A rooster protects her from me out of ignorance
though large phalluses and their glans-rims have already entered her.
Though she has lost her helmet and armor
تُذيقونَهاyou make her taste شَيئاًsomething مِنَof النارِthe fire كُلَّماwhenever
تُذيقونَها شَيئاً مِنَ النارِ كُلَّما
رَأَتshe sees مِنfrom بَنيthe sons of كَعبٍKa‘b غُلاماًa youth يَروقُهاhe pleases her
رَأَت مِن بَني كَعبٍ غُلاماً يَروقُها
You make her taste something of fire whenever
They make her taste some fire whenever
she sees a youth of Banu Ka‘b who pleases her.
She sees a handsome youth of Bani Kaab please her
