من جيبهِ ريا العبيرِ تفوحُ
A slender-waisted youth hastens to you with it.
A slender youth comes seeking you,
From his robe's neckline wafts the sweet scent of perfume.
from his pocket wafts sweet perfume.
ميسانُswaying in his walk أماas for دلّهhis coquettish bearing فمخنَّثٌthen effeminate
ميسانُ أما دلّه فمخنَّثٌ
غَنِجٌcoquettish وأماand as for وجههُhis face فصبيحُthen handsome
غَنِجٌ وأما وجههُ فصبيحُ
Swaying in his walk—as for his bearing, it is effeminate,
His gait is feminine and his face fair,
Coquettish; and as for his face, it is handsome.
