أحقُّ من أنجزَ موعودَه

أحقُّ من أنجزَ موعودَه

خليفةُ الله على خَلْقِهِ

خليفةُ الله على خَلْقِهِ

The one most fitting to fulfill his promise

More deserving is he who fulfilled his promise,

is God's caliph over His creation,

God's Caliph over His creation,

ومَن له أِرثُ نبيَ الهُدى

ومَن له أِرثُ نبيَ الهُدى

بالحقِ لا يُدفَع عن حَقِهِ

بالحقِ لا يُدفَع عن حَقِهِ

and he who holds the inheritance of the Prophet of guidance

And he who inherited the legacy of the Prophet of guidance,

by right, and is not denied his due.

With truth his right cannot be denied,

يُنسب في الهَدى إلى هديهِ

يُنسب في الهَدى إلى هديهِ

بِرَّاً وفي الصدقِ إلى صدقِهِ

بِرَّاً وفي الصدقِ إلى صدقِهِ

In guidance, he is linked to the Prophet's guidance,

He is attributed with guidance to his guidance,

righteously, and in truthfulness to his truthfulness;

With righteousness and truthfulness to his truthfulness,

ومَن له الطاعَةُ مفروضة

ومَن له الطاعَةُ مفروضة

لائحةٌ بالوحي في رَقَّهِ

لائحةٌ بالوحي في رَقَّهِ

and he to whom obedience is obligatory,

And he to whom obedience is obligatory,

made plain through revelation on its parchment;

Evident in the revelation on its pages,

والراتقُ الفتقِ العظيم الذي

والراتقُ الفتقِ العظيم الذي

لا يقدر الناسُ على رتقِهِ

لا يقدر الناسُ على رتقِهِ

and the mender of the great rift that

The seamless seal, the mighty cleft,

people are unable to mend.

Which people cannot mend its tear.
