وإذا أرادك بالوصال مباعد

وإذا أرادك بالوصال مباعد

يوماً فصل من حبله ما يوصل

يوماً فصل من حبله ما يوصل

And if one long aloof should seek reunion with you

And if one who has kept away seeks reunion with you,

one day, then mend whatever of his bond can still be mended.
