يا حُسنَ يوم تجلَّى بالهنآءِ لنا
لمعدَنِto the source of الفَضلِvirtue زُفَّتwas led as a bride درَّةُthe pearl of الخَفَرِmodesty
لمعدَنِ الفَضلِ زُفَّت درَّةُ الخَفَرِ
How lovely a day that shone for us with joy!
O beauty of the day that dawned with joy for us
The pearl of modesty was led as a bride to the source of virtue.
From the mine of virtue the pearl of the honored one was brought
تقولُsay أَرقامُnumerals of تاريخٍa date بهِin it فرِحَتrejoiced
تقولُ أَرقامُ تاريخٍ بهِ فرِحَت
ماhow أَحسَنbeautiful الجمعَthe union بينbetween الشمسthe sun والقمرِand the moon
ما أَحسَن الجمعَ بين الشمس والقمرِ
