O enchantment, for whom God has made hearts

O beauty, God has made hearts subservient to it

Subservient—exalted is God, your Creator!

لقد تنزهت عن شبه وعن مثل

لقد تنزهت عن شبه وعن مثل

فليس غيرك بين الناس يحكيك

فليس غيرك بين الناس يحكيك

You are indeed beyond any likeness or equal;

You have certainly become free from likeness and similarity

For no one else among people resembles you.

For there is none other among people who can relate you

إني لأرضى بموتي لو رضيت به

إني لأرضى بموتي لو رضيت به

لكن أخاف فموتي سوف يبكيك

I would indeed be content with my death, if you were content with it;

I would be satisfied with my death if you were satisfied with it
