فَإِنso if تَكُyou are قَدalready مَلِلتَyou have grown tired of القُربَcloseness مِنّيto me
فَسَوفَthen will تَرىyou see مُجانَبَتيmy keeping away وَبُعديand my distance
So if you have grown tired of being close to me,
If you are bored of being close to me
Then you will see me keep away and keep my distance.
You will see me turn away and keep my distance
وَسَوفَand will تَلومُyou blame نَفسَكَyourself إِنif بَقيناwe live on
وَتَبلواand you test الناسَpeople وَالأَحوالَand circumstances بَعديafter me
And you will blame yourself, if we live on,
And you will blame yourself if we stay
And put people and circumstances to the test after me.
People and life seem bitter after me
فَتَندَمُthen you regret فيover الَّذيthat which فَرَّطتَyou neglected فيهِin it
إِذاwhen قايَستَyou compare فيconcerning ذَمّيcensure of me وَحَمديand praise of me
Then you will regret what you neglected,
So you will regret what you missed
When you weigh censure of me against praise of me.
When you compare dispraise of me to praise of me
