    Listen, O swift-trotting riders: convey

My greeting to the inhabitants of the lands, and make it heard.

And say: there has come to you the man whose conduct most resembles

His father's; so rejoice and wait expectantly.

I pledge to you—if you do not suffer the loss of my lifeblood—

That the sky of hardship will clear away from you.

Soon there will be an addition for you and an increase,

And gifts that come in succession, then are doubled.

In your Muharram, your pay register and your stipend—

The scribes will record them then, and the documents will be sealed.
