ضَمِنتُ لَكُم إِن سَلَّمَ اللَهُ مُهجَتي

ضَمِنتُ لَكُم إِن سَلَّمَ اللَهُ مُهجَتي

عَطاءً وَرِزقاً كامِلاً في المُحَرَّمِ

عَطاءً وَرِزقاً كامِلاً في المُحَرَّمِ

I have pledged to you, if God spares my life,

If God keeps my mind sound

A grant and full provision in Muharram.

I promise you ample gifts and full sustenance in Muharram

فَلا تُعجِلوني لا أَبا لِأَبيكُمُ

فَلا تُعجِلوني لا أَبا لِأَبيكُمُ

فَإِنّي لَكُم كَالوالِدِ المُتَرَجِّمِ

فَإِنّي لَكُم كَالوالِدِ المُتَرَجِّمِ

So do not hurry me—may your father have no father!

So do not rush me, I cannot refuse you

For I am to you like a compassionate father.

For I am to you like a devoted father
