إِنَّماonly شِعريَmy poetry قَندٌsugar candy
إِنَّما شِعريَ قَندٌ
خُلِطَتwas mixed بِالجُلجُلانِwith sesame seeds
خُلِطَت بِالجُلجُلانِ
My poetry is but sugar candy,
Is nothing but candy
mixed with sesame seeds.
