May my soul be ransom for him who reproaches me,

And my mouth is on his, kissing it.

And he wants to explain the point of his argument,

While kissing hurries him and embarrasses him.

Until, when I vex him, he screens off

The space between my mouth and his with his fingertips.

And he returns apologizing, to distract me

From him with an excuse I do not accept.
